ON-LINE PRIVACY, THE GLASS HOUSE

What would I reveal online?

My take on Project 365 prompt

My life is quite an open book

You can look in every nook

My FB status is Public

Where you can find all you seek

About my past and present life

And what’s more, even my wife

Is privy to my inner strife

As told in shares and likes and posts

All my ravings, empty boasts

As for my hidden murky past

My blog posts reveal all at last

But there’s one thing that makes me quell

I will never kiss and tell!Image

  1. Private and public life – this dichotomy itself seemed so foreign a concept to an average Indian mind, until a few decades ago. Life is life, to be lived individually but in a family, in a community. The biradari idea is still very strong. Maybe FB family has become the new biradari for the urban Indians in the cyberworld 🙂

    1. absolutely. we also dont hesitate in asking complete strangers on trains etc their origin, marital status, income, opinion, political leanings et all.and its rude to deny full disclosure. fb has expanded this forum 🙂

  2. You must have kissed and told by now. Of course, we your readers know it’s not for us.
